It used to be just our Dreams - to come to The Orange Peel with our besties, rage a little bit as we dance all night long, and enjoy the October air right here right now! Or maybe you’re coming solo and want to dance On Your Own - and hey, we’re totally down for that too! But whatever you do - make sure you’re here and present, ‘cause Anamanaguchi is gonna bring the house down!
Anamanaguchi?! Did we stutter?? The New York City pop rockers are making their way around town and going cray cray with their 2025 Buckwild Tour - hitting every stop from coast to coast! And on Wednesday October 15th - they’re coming right here to No-Dako for all our listening pleasure and grooves to make us move.

So - you all ready for the best night of the year!? Ready to scream and cheer with us RIGHT here at The Orange Peel are SO excited to party with you this October on Wednesday the 15th - Anamanaguchi’s, a part of the crew’s Buckwild Tour 2025. And we KNOW it’s going to be one of those once in a lifetime moments right here in the city. Anamanaguchi is on their final quest before meeting the big boss at the end of the game - and personally we’re just glad we’re along for the ride. The chiptune pop band is hitting many many stops all summer long on the tour - including in places like the Wonder Ballroom in Portland, Harlow’s in Sacramento, Summit in Denver, Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, The Wiltern over in L.A. a few weeks ago, a Chicago show that was just added, of course Nashville, and oh yeah - right here at The Orange Peel for all of us to drool over and more.
Anamanaguchi is the number one band that just can’t seem to be put into any box or category - and for that, we LOVE them. Formed in the Big Apple back in the early 2000s - the band takes the faces and places of the city quite literally when it comes to the genres they love to play. Switching between electro pop to indie rock to punk to chiptune, the band first hopped on the scene with their release of their hit album Power Supply in 2006 - and then the rest was history. They rose to fame and gained critical acclaim. And then - they were for real everywhere. They’ve worked with iconic franchises like Scott Pilgrim The Video Game and Rocket League, and have cemented themselves as the 8-bit rockers of the new school who love to throw nostalgia into their noise - and quite frankly, we’re so here for it. And with their current tour coming across the country for all of us to enjoy and them selling out EVERYWHERE - we’re just along for the ride boys and girls. Our only question is - are you too??
Anamanaguchi is so popular because their music hits so many genres and parts of life - you’ve either interacted with it before without knowing it, or you’ve put it on trying to run back your favorite song of theirs. And no matter what you think of their music - you gotta respect the hustle they have and the passion they bring to all of their live shows.
