The Orange Peel
Progressive rock overlords Hail The Sun take over the stage at The Orange Peel on Sunday April 12th, 2026, performing their recent album track: Turn. Fade. Back. To Asheville. The Chico, CA based math rock juggernauts are known for their intricate technically impressive compositions, and enlisted Grammy winner Johnny Kosich to produce their 2025 album.
The luxurious evening of music features Cincinnati’s outrageous rockers Foxy Shazam as the headlining act on tour behind their 2025 albums Box of Magic and Animality Opera. Local bands Makari and Mella will also take the stage, the Michigan based newcomer.
The event begins at 6:00 PM with doors opening and the show kicking off at 7:00 PM. Fans must be 18+ to attend. Tickets start at $57. With state of the art sound equipment provided by The Orange Peel, this will be an exceptional musical experience!

Formed back in 2011, Makari brings with them a never-before-heard approach to blending post-hardcore bands with progressive elements; you’ll love singing along as they play awesome tracks like "Transient", "Wave Machine", and "Eternity Leave." Earlier this year, the band released their newest album also called "Wave Machine". Mellari have captivated audiences with their unique approach to alternative emo in just a short time - even though they are one of the newer bands on the scene; they seem to have quickly found their spot in the swancore scene.
The venue, located at 101 Biltmore Ave in downtown Asheville, NC is a premier music venue you can trust for producing high-quality sound and lighting that enhances every musical offering!
