The Orange Peel
Modest Mouse is at The Orange Peel on Friday, June 12th, 2026. Doors are at 7:00 PM | Modest Mouse set time 8:00 PM. Opening band will be Silver Triplets of the Rio Hondo.
Tickets on sale for all dates of Modest Mouse's 2026 Spring/Summer Tour which include stops at: Spokane, Missoula, Salt Lake City, Virginia Beach, Wilmington, Charleston as well as two nights in Asheville before they roll into Manchester for Bonnaroo then onto Vancouver, Chicago, Portland and St. Paul with more California dates to come.
Modest Mouse will be performing live, and we can’t think of a better way to experience their anthemic, chart topping hits such as “Float On”, “Ocean Breathes Salty”, “Dashboard”, and “Lampshades on Fire” than when performed acoustically by the band in a room filled with sound. Their latest album, The Golden Casket, was released in 2021, and they are set to release their latest single “Look How Far” featuring drummer Janet Weiss.
Also an original member of psychedelic, art-rock group Grails, Slater presents an opening music set in an unconventional performance that will reflect the independent spirit of the evening. Slater was approached by the alt-rock band Modest Mouse in 2002 to become their cellist, even though he had never played the cello. He says they just liked the look of him.
