Ever since they've been making their mark on the alt-scene, Bayside has been headed flat-out to the top at a rate of knots, cracking charts all over the place. For over 25 years, the Queens, New York-formed punk rock outfit has been without a question one of the greatest alt-outfits in the scene today and they are bursting at the seams with that x-factor that separates the wheat from the chaff. Mind-blowing beautiful songs? Check. Earth-shattering pummeling rhythms? Done. Raw vocal power that shakes the earth? You've got it. Lyrics that gets stuck in the head and heart? Ticked. Powerhouse riffs and licks being ripped through with precision? Of course. But the greatest, most important thing about Bayside is that they simply do not fit into any mold. Most find it nearly impossible to define them and even hardcore fans like us are often left speechless by the non-conformity, creative power and the wall of sound the perpetually developing Bayside brings to the alt-rock table.
