Spend your weekend with a true Americana and honky tonk show, featuring singer-songwriter Benjamin Tod and his band The Inline Six at The Orange Peel, 105 Orange St. in Asheville, North Carolina on Friday, October 23rd, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Show starts at 8:00 PM. Moore will open the show for Tod’s honky tonk project while on a coast to coast tour across the United States. The show will be a lively and high energy country, folk and Appalachian style show and is recommended for all like-minded live music lovers. All ages 18 and up.
Music by Benjamin Tod Flippo (Benjamin Tod is the singer-songwriter and frontman of the Lost Dog Street Band) This music combines elements of folk, country and Appalachian storytelling. He performs some of his songs such as “Using Again”, “September Doves”, “Glory” and “Shooting Star”. As of 2026, Benjamin Tod’s work has evolved and his most recent album “Vengeance and Grace” (with The Inline Six) sees him evolve into a full-fledged honky tonk artist. Lost Dog Street Band’s album “Weight of a Trigger” reached number five on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart in 2019. Benjamin Tod Flippo was born on November 11, 1990 in Sumner County, Tennessee. He has wandered the country since he was young and rode the rails and hitchhiked across the country. His true to life songs reflect his traveling and often rough life.
We’ve got some very exciting news to share with all of you! Singer/Songwriter Benjamin Tod’s new band is called The Inline Six. They’ll be touring in support of his 2026 tour and will be playing traditional country and honky tonk music along with reimagined songs from his previous band Vengeance and Grace. Tod feels this new band is an exciting opportunity for him to bring his music full circle, and to give his fans a chance to see his songwriting in a new way. The Inline Six will focus primarily on traditional country and honky tonk music, while also reimagining songs from Vengeance and Grace giving fans a look into where Tod’s music is heading in the direction of honky tonk.
Singer-songwriter Conrad Moore, of Asheville, North Carolina, crafts songs that create a portrait of the common southern man, steeped in the traditions of folk music. His songs can be heard on this playlist for American music, Americana, the genres he identifies, including “Save The Southland”, “song of the Well”, “Brack and Brine” and “Whiskey Night”. Moore released his debut EP Save The Southland in 2023 with a string of singles in 2024, including “hit of the Well”. An up-and-coming force in the Americana genre, Moore’s set has us adding his thoughtful and engaging songs to our playlist.
101 Biltmore Ave Asheville, NC 28801 Asheville's The Orange Peel was named one of the top five rock clubs in the country by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2008. The club is an intimate space with state of the art sound and lighting. Almost all of the seating is standing room with a capacity of only 1,050 people. You can sit at one of the 30-50 stools scattered about the perimeter on a first come first served basis or reserve a seat in the wall sections for certain shows. The main floor has two beer bars or you can head down to the basement PULP (people understanding liquor in pubs) for a full bar. The Orange Peel is a non-smoking facility, but has a smoking deck off the main floor since the 2009 renovation. Call (828) 398-1837 for more information. The Orange Peel does not have a private parking lot. However, there are many free public parking lots throughout the city of Asheville within walking distance of The Orange Peel. Additionally, it is also free to park on the streets of Asheville after 6pm. If you are looking for paid lots and garages, there are a number of options available as well that will secure a parking spot for the evening.
