Asheville’s own Wednesday Bleeds Tour 2026 comes to The Orange Peel on April 6th, 2026. Asheville, NC’s explosive quintet Wednesday are set to unveil their Bleeds Tour 2026 at The Orange Peel on Monday, April 6th, 2026. Doors are at 7:00PM; Showtime is 8:00PM. Gouge Away will support.
The hometown show is in celebration of the Wednesday’s 2025 album Bleeds, indie rock alt-country fusion that has seen the band tour extensively across the US, visiting cities including Knoxville, Nashville, New Orleans, Seattle and more. This 18+ tour will be a deep dive into the world of Wednesday’s music as they bring the spirit of the South and the vulnerability of their lyrics to life through their energetic live show that you won’t want to miss.
Wednesday is brought to life on stage by singer and guitarist Karly Hartzman, who has been making waves as the front woman of this dynamic indie rock outfit that was formed in 2017. Fans know and love their catchy songs – ‘Elderberry Wine’, ‘Townies’, ‘Chosen to Deserve’, ‘Quarry’ and ‘Bath County,’ all of which are performed with heartfelt intensity.
Their monumental fifth album, ‘Rat Saw God’, was released in 2023 to critical acclaim and was named one of the AP’s Best Albums of 2023. Now, they have released their new album, ‘Bleeds’, which NPR has called a potential Rock Album of the Year. Taking their music in the indie rock, shoegaze and alt-country veins, while dealing with themes of inner emotions and the landscape of small-town Southern life, Wednesday add an ethereal glow of beauty to everything they do.
